So, I’ve been a little behind on blogging because not only am I incredibly busy with my little digital marketing agency Pique Digital, but I am expecting my second child! And…it’s a girl! True story: I bought this quilt from Etsy TWO YEARS ago because I thought it was so perfect and unique and I just had to have it. Even if I never had a girl. The quilt uses The Sweetest Thing fabrics by Zoe Pearn, who makes the most delightful designs. Well, lucky for me, I now have a reason to use my presumptuous purchase.
The color scheme I am going for in baby girl’s nursery is all based on this quilt as well as an inspiration nursery I found on the darling blog Little Green Notebook. Here’s the palette:
3) Crib Sheet
The red crib from the inspiration nursery was the first piece I picked up. It’s a Jenny Lind crib, and I found mine on Craigslist for $20! It of course isn’t red and needs to be painted, but it’s in great shape. What a steal! We’re going for this look a la Land of Nod. We haven’t painted it yet, but I have done all the research on how to safely paint a crib with non-toxic paint and finish, so I’ll post on that soon enough. Stay tuned for more girly goodies!
